Jim W. Kahmann
President

Jim is a graduate of the Covington Latin School and the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. He is a third-generation homebuilder, following the path of his father and grandfather. Jim lives in Florence with his wife, Kathy, and three sons, Mark, Matt, and Josh. Mark attends the University of Kentucky while Matt and Josh attend Holy Cross High School. Jim and Kathy are active members of Saint Tim’s Church and they particularly enjoy singing in the choir. Jim also spends his free time coaching Boone County Knothole Baseball and Tri-County Y Soccer teams.

Jim's primary responsibilities include the direct supervision of construction in southern Boone and Campbell County and the procurement of top quality products at the least possible cost. Jim strives to diminish the waste output for each home built, while still maintaining B.O.L.D.'s reputation for quality and service.



Paul J. Kahmann Jr.
Vice President

Paul is a graduate of Covington Catholic High School and the University of Kentucky College of Engineering with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer and certified by the National Association of Home Builders as a Certified Green Professional (CGP). He follows in the footsteps of his father and grandfather as a third-generation builder. Paul lives in Boone County with his wife, Beth, and daughter, Katie. Katie attends the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and is pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Paul and his family enjoy life on a small (14 acre) Kentucky horse farm. They currently own 4 horses and enjoy trail riding, hunter-jumper competitions, and foxhunting.

Paul's main duty is the supervision of home construction in Boone and Kenton County. Paul is also in charge of obtaining the highest quality building products at a low cost, allowing B.O.L.D. to be recognized for high quality homes while reducing waste and controlling costs.



Mike J. Kegley
Vice President

After attending high school at University Breckinridge in Morehead, KY, Mike earned a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Kentucky. He is a licensed real-estate broker and a member of the Northern Kentucky Association of Realtors. Mike is also a past president of the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky and he currently serves the industry as Vice President-Secretary for the Home Builders Association of Kentucky. In addition, he is a member of the State & Local Government Affairs committee as well as a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Home Builders. He lives in Florence with his wife, Janet.

Mike's duties include sales and marketing. He specializes in giving customers personalized service in selecting the plan and features of their choice.



James J. Kegley
Vice President

James is a graduate of Villa Madonna Academy. He went on to Bradley University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Construction Management with a minor in Business Management. While at Bradley University, James was awarded the Todd Bryant Award for outstanding undergraduate student and he was inducted into the Professional Order of Engineering Technology for his achievements and successful completion of education in the engineering technology program. James is certified by the National Association of Home Builders as a Certified Sales Professional (CSP), Residential Construction Superintendent (RCS), Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAP), Certified Green Professional (CGP) and Certified Graduate Builder (CGB). In addition, James is committed to continuing his education in the industry. He currently serves the industry by participating on the Building Codes, Education, Registered Builder / Remodeler and Green Building committees at the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky. He is a fourth-generation builder in Northern Kentucky following his father, grandfather and great-grandfather. James lives in Boone County.

James is responsible for estimating the cost of new homes and change orders. In addition he is a sales consultant and works with the design and construction teams to produce elegant homes of lasting value.



Janet K. Kegley
Designer

After attending high school at Notre Dame Academy, Janet earned a Masters degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern Kentucky University. She has also received training in CADD Design at Northern Kentucky University. She lives in Florence with her husband, Mike. Janet has been involved in a number of civic organizations including Saint Paul’s Board of Education, Forward Quest, Boone County Board of Adjustments and the Boone County Planning Commission.

At B.O.L.D., Janet acts as a communication liaison, coordinating selections and materials with B.O.L.D. clients. She also assists in the design process and CADD drawing. She manages our warranty department, as well, ensuring that B.O.L.D. clients have a full understanding of the care and maintenance of their residence.
